I have two very active little boys (a 3 year old and a 19 month old) and they love playing pretty rough, running around, jumping off of things, and climbing on furniture. As a mom, it drives me crazy! I always feel that they’re going to hurt themselves or each other. I know that it may be my mom-mind overreacting, but I can’t help it. I was able to get them to stop climbing on my furniture, but I’ve tried everything to get them to stop being so rough, but not much works. If I see my babies getting a little too rough, I can talk to them through the speakers on the cameras. It’s pretty funny using the speakers the first few times because they didn’t know where my voice was coming from and it freaked them out a little. Now that they know that I can watch them while I’m out of the room, their rough housing has calmed down a lot.

Another plus about having the double monitors is that while my oldest is downstairs playing, I can take my little one upstairs for a nap and still be able to monitor them both. I can play soothing music through the camera for my youngest who sometimes has trouble falling asleep and it won’t play on the camera downstairs at all.

The reason I say “supposed to be” is because my oldest will sometimes climb out of his bed in his room and will run to our room to sneak into our bed. I’m so happy now, knowing that I can keep an eye on my boys to make sure that they’re safe and I don’t worry as much!
