Pillow Forts with Pop Secret

Thank you to Pop Secret for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to build my babies a pillow fort!

My babies have been under the weather the past few days. If you don’t know them, then it may be hard to tell when they’re not feeling well, unless they have a fever, cough, or runny nose. They still love to run around, play rough, and jump on everything in sight. This time was a little different. My oldest (2 yrs.) was still running around, but it was just a little. Also, he didn’t have any terrible two’s tantrums. Can you believe it?!?! Me neither! Although that’s something every parent would wish for, I knew he was feeling really terrible. My 10 month old has just as much energy as his brother, but he’s been having trouble sleeping at night because of congestion. This has made him sluggish during the day.

I wanted to hangout and cuddle with my babies for the weekend since they weren’t feeling that great. My oldest has been really into making “houses” out of pillows, so I wanted him to experience a real pillow fort. Being the big helper he is, my son gathered up the blankets from his room and my bed. Of course I had to do all of the heavy moving, with placing the chairs and all. Last, all of the pillows came off of the couch.

Once it was all finished, of course my baby wanted a big bowl of Pop Secret popcorn and a good cartoon to watch. I couldn’t tell that cute baby face “no”. We watched a couple of movies cuddled up in the pillow fort and he even dozed off a little. I was so happy that I was able to make my baby feel better and to see a smile on his face.

If you’re planning on building your own pillow fort, make sure you stop by the Pop Secret Facebook page to download a $1 off coupon to make Pop Secret a part of the fun!
