Walmart: Our Favorite #Snackation Destination

Over the summer I’ve been spending a lot of time with my babies, exploring our new city. We’ve been to food festivals, the beach, the zoo, museums, and plenty of parks. We pack extra diapers, clothes, water, and of course snacks! I’ve made the mistake before of not having enough snacks on a long day trip and it was one of the worst experiences ever. Now, that I’m a seasoned mom I know how to pack for a day away from the house. We’re planning an upcoming daycation to the beach to celebrate the end of the summer, complete with a picnic. I had to stop by Walmart: Our Favorite #Snackation Destination, to pick up some goodies for my babies. In the past some of our picnics did include some fast food, but it’s definitely not the best option.

Now I let my oldest son choose what we’re going to pack, that doesn’t include greasy food.  Now we always include plenty of fresh fruits and 100% juice in our picnics, but my sons love a good ole’ pb&j sandwich!

We picked up our favorite flavor of Smucker’s jam, strawberry! We also had to snatch up a jar of Jif Whips for our sandwich. Two slices of whole wheat bread will help this quick snack be a healthier option for our picnic. I did sneak in a little Jif To Go Chocolate Silk Spread so I can dip my fruit slices. I suspect that my babies will be doing a little dipping of their own!

Planning a #Snackation with our daycation was super easy! We will enjoy our day in the sun and sand, while eating some of our favorite snacks.
